City Lights - BPM. Untitled Matrix - BPM. Misconceptions - BPM. Review: Veteran producer Ben Tyrone makes his debut on Amsterdam's The North Quarter with Hurt Index, which the Newcastle native recorded over a two year period and he challenged himself to step out of his comfort zone.
Tyrone explains 'the entire process has in a way been very cathartic, sort of like a spring clean for the brain. Come Closer. Come Closer original mix - BPM. Repentance - BPM. Odyssey - BPM. Review: Jubei's new label Carbon Music continues to flourish as it hits release three, this time from good friend and occasional collaborator Tyrone.
Three tracks deep, each one bringing a different spice, 'Repentance' is a timeless dubby workout with slamming breaks and heavily textured reggae washes in the background. Big toons. Can't Relate. Can't Relate - 74 BPM. The Disciple - BPM. OG's - BPM. Review: Guidance has rapidly become a must-follow imprint ever since its launch by Ulterior Motive, and Tyrone has taken to it like a duck to water.
It's rough and tumble rolling goodness, and 'The Disciple' represents this mission statement with devastating clarity, as resonant synths give way to penetrating percussion and a growling, tendril-like bassline. Potent, potent stuff. Glow - 73 BPM. Come Through. Come Through - 80 BPM. Severance EP. Tyrone - "Severance" - BPM. Review: Fire in the hole! The title track is an absolute beast that slices through the air and space with incredible weight and width while elsewhere "Beg Of U" takes us on a tour of Tyrone's deeper space-aged side, "Lost Witness" rolls out with rattling menace and muscle and "Velvet" with Ulterior Motive closes the deal on a deep introspective one.
Prepare to be severed. Love The Music. Where Have The Ravers Gone. SO Remix. Lunar City EP. Lunar City - BPM. Heaton Dramaz - BPM. Warriors - BPM. Eyes - BPM. Review: Fresh from collaborating with Ulterior Motive and Jubei, Tyrone steps up with his first full solo EP for the label and it's yet another level up. Four hurricanes compounded in tune form, "Lunar City" rips the floor from beneath you with its booming sub and Marcus-esque raising sense of tension, "Heaton Dramaz" takes the technoid turbine factor to a whole new hair-raising level while "Warriors" kicks hard with a soundsystem vibe that hits all the spots Digital does.
Finally "Eyes" close the EP with some soul-shattering breaks and a humanised textures from the stars. Soulecta - "Satisfaction" radio edit - BPM. Tyrone - "Jump" radio edit - BPM. Spectrum - "Timebomb" - BPM. The Arcane EP. Stabs - BPM. Avalon - BPM. The Saboteur - BPM. Hoppers Theme - 58 BPM.
Played by: Hex. Review: Fresh from tearing Sun And Bass a new one, the mighty Jubei and his fast rising mate Tyrone step up to Headz with their first collaborative EP and it's business from the moment that evangelistic intro opens on "Stabs".
Elsewhere we're whisked into a swirl of synths and textures on the rising, sweeping dreamer "Avalon", we're pummelled into submission by killer droned out horns on apocalyptic damager "The Saboteur" before being crushed by incredible breakbeat craftmanship on the Blue Note primed "Hoppers Theme". Just plain insane; yet another crucial EP from Headz this year. Good Intentions. Good Intentions - BPM. Jump radio edit - BPM. Yosh Pit Vol 1. Mofaux - "Soldier" - BPM. Review: As a label, Yosh has gone from strength to strength over the last few years, bringing together some of the bass scenes most exciting artists on both compilations and single releases.
Here they team up with the wise owls of Tengu to put together a powerhouse tracklisting, bringing in a host of new faces such as KXVU, Movement, Pavv, J69 and. R3DX, as well as bringing back some of their favourite regulars. For us the stand outs have to include Kyle Riot's emotive bass belter in 'Through My Eyes' which combines electronically processed vocal stabs with shimmering bass textures. Another highlight would have to be Mofaux's 'Soldier' composition, which combines skippy drum rhythms with a grinding LFO and more catchy vocal stabs.
But since its emergence in the late s, local rap has always stood out from its American big brother. Often brilliantly. A combination of Jamaican dancehall, American hip-hop, Caribbean rhythms and Spanish wit, reggaeton has, since its birth in the early 90s, shaken the world of pop music time and time again.
In the last decade, they have done just that thanks to artists such as Luis Fonsi, J. Balvin and Bad Bunny. Categories: All Back. See entire Jazz catalogue. See entire Classical catologue.
