Samsung Cloudservice same story: no way of uploading…. I did keep the TV as it seems to be a software problem rather than the TV being at fault, I am hoping that the app with be fixed. I would love for Screen Photo to work! What is even more upsetting is how you just go round and round in circles with the Samsung support staff.
I must be missing something but where do I find the shared smart apps? Mostly I think its obscure, and information on how to do it is hard to find.
A tutorial or two, and a couple of worked examples would go a long way in helping with this. And having a way to actually FIND the tutorial or worked example on the Smartthings web page would greatly reduce the frustration. You might consider that as a suggestion for the community. This has to be the most convoluted system imaginable. It seems to have been thrown together without any planning. As it says at the top of that section: Now when you open the official SmartThings mobile app, this new custom smartapp will appear as a choice under My Apps in the SmartApp section in the Marketplace.
Can you explain a little more? Download the SmartThings App. If you are missing other apps, you should contact ST support. It could be a sync issue, mismatched account issue or other. For the Classic app, the globe is essentially divided into three sections similar to the International Telecommunication Union regions. As Samsung has a worldwide presence, the availability of devices, SmartApps, and features is restricted much more granularly. This helps curate more relevant experiences in addition to assisting with things such as compliance to local regulations.
Thanks for you reply jkp. I am able to ad a new Automation, but it will only take events from the first button, not the remaining buttons the device have. This may be a decision to rid the environment of a lot of legacy apps that are troublesome.
It has the side effect of killing the classic developments. Maybe I am missing something but where?
